Welcome, moms, mums, and mamas. No woman could ever truly prepare herself for the highest highs of motherhood, nor for the lowest lows. Nothing can really compare to watching the small being that your birthed reach new milestones, discover who they are, and grow up to have the most impeccable music and film taste (which just so happens to mirror your own) at such a young age. 
At the same time, raising kids can be a little too real sometimes. I mean, did you know that one day you'd be dealing with a toddler meltdown in the morning when you're already late for work because their peanut butter and jelly sandwich had the tiniest suggestion of a crust on one side, or that you would find yourself pulling out the iPad at a restaurant every once in a while even though you promised yourself you'd never be 'that mom?'
